Diane makes an impact in Cattaraugus
Our neighbor Diane shows her caring, dedicated heart in everything she does.
She always shows up with a smile, especially in her 15 years as a volunteer at the Cattaraugus Food Pantry.
“It’s so rewarding to help people,” she says.
The Cattaraugus Food Pantry is a pillar in Diane’s life.
As a volunteer, Diane helps countless families and individuals in Western New York access nutritious food close to home.
Now retired and on disability due to a cancer diagnosis, Diane can’t volunteer as much as she’d like.
But, she still checks in at the pantry to visit friends and pick up healthy food for her and her husband, who is also retired.
As Diane has seen firsthand, we have the power to make a stronger food system — and a stronger Western New York — by working together.
Volunteering always puts a smile on Diane’s face.
“The best thing I could have ever done in my lifetime was volunteering,” Diane shares warmly.
To friends like you, Diane encourages getting involved. “Cattaraugus needs this place. They really do,” she says. And with your support of FeedMore WNY, the Cattaraugus Food Pantry can continue to serve our community.
Thank you, Diane, for your incredible service!
