FeedMore WNY celebrates 30 years of Rich’s Adopt-A-Route partnership

FeedMore WNY was honored to recognize present and former employees at Rich Products Corporation for 30 incredible years of volunteerism through our Adopt-A-Route program. As we enjoyed delicious FeedMore WNY-themed cookies generously provided by Frost Artisan Bakery, we were honored to give these great volunteers a small gift from FeedMore WNY and offer an award of recognition for their organization.

In October 1993, Rich Products employees began volunteering with our home-delivered meal program, establishing what is known today as FeedMore WNY’s Adopt A Route program. Today, approximately 60 Rich Products team members volunteer for our home delivered meals program. Small groups of Rich’s employees alternate delivering meals to homebound neighbors and older adults. By rotating the volunteer groups, they are able to accommodate the busy daily schedules of their staff members.

Businesses and groups can easily and effectively give back to the community through our Adopt-A-Route program. Opportunities can be found throughout Niagara and Erie counties, and flexible scheduling is available to accommodate the needs of any company or community organization. Regardless of how busy one’s schedules may be, the Adopt-A-Route program enables people to find time to volunteer while fostering a sense of community.
