National Volunteers Appreciation Month
April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month, a time to recognize our incredible volunteers. We want to celebrate the incredible individuals who give their time, energy, and are dedicated to making a difference. At FeedMore WNY, our volunteers are the backbone of our mission to fight hunger. Each day, our volunteers pack and sort food in our warehouse, distribute meals to our homebound neighbors, help at our pantries, assist with our special events, and more! Their dedication ensures that our neighbors in need receive the resources they need to thrive.
Every type of volunteer helps FeedMore WNY’s mission. We have dedicated regular volunteers who commit their time weekly or monthly, others join us for one-time opportunities, and many individuals and groups participate in annual events, such as food drives or fundraisers. Additionally, businesses, schools, and community organizations often volunteer as part of service days or special occasions as a way to give back. Regardless of what capacity our volunteers choose to donate their time, their effort makes a meaningful difference.
If you’re looking for a way to give back, there are many opportunities to join our volunteer family. Whether you can commit a few hours a month or a few days each week, your support can have a big impact. You can find upcoming volunteer opportunities here.
To every volunteer we extend our deepest gratitude. This month, and every month, we celebrate YOU!
