Volunteer Spotlight: Rich Products Corporation
For more than 25 years, dedicated employees at Rich Products Corporation have helped deliver nutritious food and friendship to our homebound community members. In fact, Rich’s was the founding partner for FeedMore WNY’s Adopt-A-Route program, which pairs corporations and community organizations with delivery routes to support our Meals on Wheels program.
Rich’s robust Adopt-A-Route team consists of 48 individuals, paired up in teams, who rotate to deliver meals each week to homebound older adults and people living with disabilities in the Black Rock/Riverside area. Team members continued to deliver meals throughout the height of the pandemic.
Rich’s was proud to add seven additional members to their Adopt-A-Route roster during this time to assist FeedMore WNY in its response to meet the increased need for food assistance in the community as a result of COVID-19.
Rich Products Corporation’s tremendous partnership extends beyond their Adopt-A-Route. The Rich’s team and members of the Rich family volunteer to sort and pack donations for our food bank distribution network. Rich’s also supports our mission through monetary and product donations. Since July 2020, the Rich Family Foundation has awarded $85,000 to FeedMore WNY to meet the increased need for food assistance in the community.
We thank Rich Products Corporation for helping FeedMore WNY provide dignity, hope and a brighter future to our WNY neighbors in need!
