Credit union holds shred day, food drive

Great Erie Federal Credit Union, in partnership with Lincoln Archives Inc., will host a community shred day from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, in its parking lot, 4000 N. Buffalo Road, Orchard Park.
The company is encouraging those who bring documents to shred to support the community by donating nonperishable food to FeedMore WNY.
The most needed items include cereal, peanut butter, canned tuna and chicken, canned soups, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta and spaghetti sauce.
There is a limit of three bags or boxes of items to shred.
